Why Ariteks?

Everything you need for a secure partnership with a special-purpose fabric supplier. Alongside workmanship, fabric is the leading factor defining the quality of the end product and the profitability of production. With your reputation and production costs in mind, we combine uncompromising quality with competitive pricing — the result of fifty years on the global specialty fabrics market.

Testing within our own structure

Physical, colour, organic-synthesis and thin-film coating laboratories. The full ISO 105 colour-fastness battery and ISO 13934 / ISO 13938 strength tests performed on site. A test report accompanies the batch.

A system audited every year

ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 renewed in 2024. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 held continuously since 2009. In the raw-material chain: RCS, OCS and BCI. Full documentation is provided before your first order.

Fabrics tested to protective apparel standards

EN ISO 20471, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 11611, EN 61482, EN 1149, EN 343, EN 13034, EN 469. A test protocol is available for every fabric in the protective range.

Batch-to-batch consistency

Our yarn and fabric colour laboratories develop and archive dyeing recipes. The colour and parameters of subsequent batches are reproduced from the recorded recipe — not recreated from scratch.

Delivery and cost

Lead times for standard catalogue items are measured in days. Deliveries across the EU free of customs duties and quotas. The same standards and parameters as Western European suppliers — at a lower fabric price.

Support in your market

The official Ariteks representative office in the EU: technical advice, samples, documentation and the entire ordering process handled in your language and your time zone.

Special-purpose technologies

ArBo — PBO fibre fabric

The world's strongest synthetic fabric: 58% para-aramid, 40% PBO, 2% carbon fibre. Inherently flame retardant and antistatic, tested to EN 469 — for firefighter turnout gear.

Antiviral fabrics

Eleven years of research, brought to market in 2020. Antiviral effectiveness verified to ISO 18184, antibacterial to ISO 20743.

ArWoWear EMK — field shielding

Fabrics protecting against electromagnetic fields: EMI shielding, anti-radar applications and protection for high-voltage work.

Fluorescence on 100% cotton

A proprietary fluorescent dyeing method for cotton and viscose knits and wovens — PPE-class high-visibility apparel with the comfort of a natural fibre.

Chromic textiles

Thermochromic and photochromic dyeing: fabrics that change colour with temperature or UV radiation — monitoring apparel, UV detection, security identification.

Photovoltaics and biosensors

Third-generation solar cells on flexible fabrics and biosensing textiles — the principal research directions of the Ariteks Nanotek centre, with photovoltaic fabrics in the range.

Licenses and material partners

Ariteks fabrics are built on fibres and technologies from global brands — from licensed CORDURA® and Twaron® manufacturing to material partnerships with leaders in protective fibres.

CORDURA®

INVISTA, USA

High-tenacity nylon 6.6 with exceptional abrasion and tear resistance. In Ariteks fabrics: motorcycle apparel and heavy-duty gear.

Twaron®

Teijin Aramid, Teijin Group (Japan)

A para-aramid with very high tensile strength and thermal resistance. In Ariteks fabrics: cut, heat and flame protection.

PBO

PBO fibre, Japan

Poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) — the strongest and most heat-resistant of synthetic fibres. The core of the ArBo fabric for firefighter turnout gear.

Trevira CS®

Trevira GmbH, Germany

Inherently flame-retardant polyester — fire resistance built into the polymer, impossible to wash out. Contract and transport applications.

Protal®

Waxman Group, United Kingdom — based on Protex® fibres (Kaneka, Japan)

Inherently flame-retardant modacrylic blends with proven performance in electric-arc and flash-fire protection.

LENZING™ FR

Lenzing AG, Austria

A flame-resistant cellulosic fibre — heat and arc protection combined with the comfort and moisture management of natural cellulose.

Bekaert

Bekaert, Belgium

Stainless-steel fibres for textile use — conductivity for antistatic and EMI-shielding fabrics (ArWoWear EMK).

PYROVATEX®

Huntsman, Switzerland

A durable flame-retardant finish for cotton — protection that survives industrial laundering, a standard in FR workwear.
