Ariteks — Functional Technical Fabrics

About Ariteks · since 1975

50 years of special-purpose fabric manufacturing

Ariteks was founded in Istanbul in 1975 as a family business — and family-owned it remains. Today it is a manufacturing group with two plants, the Ariteks Nanotek research centre and twelve laboratories, supplying fabrics to producers of special-purpose apparel worldwide.

From a dyehouse to a technology group

Dyeing has been the company's foundation from the start — Ariteks is among the pioneers of special methods: vat and indigo dyeing, space-dye, and coating and laminating systems. That technological edge grew into the manufacturing of fabrics for protective, medical and sports apparel, carried out today across 14,000 m² of production floor.

Five percent of the budget is invested in research and development every year. The plants run on clean and renewable energy, and continuous systems keep water consumption to a minimum — environmental performance confirmed by ISO 14001 certification.

Yarn dyeing hall at the Ariteks plant in Istanbul

Istanbul — fibres and yarn

Fibre and yarn dyeing in HT machines for batches from 20 to 500 kg, high-efficiency hydro-extraction, RF drying and precision rewinding of fine and lustrous yarns. Quality control starts here — at the level of a single fibre.

Fabric finishing line at the Ariteks plant in Çorlu

Çorlu — fabric treatment and finishing

A complete knit and woven treatment line: singeing, desizing, mercerising and continuous bleaching; dyeing in jigger, pad-batch, pad-dry and pad-steam technologies; physical and chemical finishing — coating, lamination, impregnation, raising, sueding, shearing and compacting.

Research infrastructure

The Ariteks Nanotek centre in Ergene runs research projects funded by TUBITAK programmes, among others — from thin-film coatings, through biopolymer fibres, to third-generation solar cells on flexible fabrics. Day-to-day production control and recipe development are handled by twelve in-house laboratories, including:

yarn colour laboratory · fabric colour laboratory · physical test laboratory · organic synthesis laboratory · nanoparticle synthesis laboratory · thin-film coating laboratory · automation laboratory · software laboratory

Türkiye and Europe. One industrial market.

EU–Türkiye Customs Union

Duty-free, quota-free trade in industrial goods — in force since 1996. Every delivery is accompanied by an A.TR movement certificate.

The same European standards

Türkiye is a full member of CEN. EN ISO standards bind Ariteks exactly as they bind manufacturers in Germany or Italy — the difference lies in the cost of production.

Cumulation of origin

Under the pan-Euro-Mediterranean convention, Turkish fabric sewn into an EU-made product does not compromise its preferential origin in onward exports.

Certificates and standards

A management system audited annually by independent bodies. The full set of current certificates is available before your first order.
