A barrier to infection, comfort for staff

Medical clothing and products stand between an infectious agent and a person — both staff and patient. The material has to stop microbes, withstand dozens of disinfection cycles and stay comfortable through a twelve-hour shift. We manufacture fabrics that combine these demands: antiviral and infection-protective, durable through industrial laundering, comfortable and neat throughout their service life — for reusable clothing that lowers a hospital’s cost and environmental footprint.

What sets our medical fabrics apart

Antiviral performance from eleven years of research

Ariteks antiviral fabrics are the result of eleven years of research and development, brought to market in 2020. Effectiveness is confirmed to ISO 18184 — a standard that measures the actual reduction of virus on the material surface, not merely the presence of an active substance.

Silver spun in, not applied

ArShirt Antiviral Pique and the ArMedi line contain silver fibre (Ag) in the yarn — the antiviral and antibacterial action is part of the knit structure, so it does not weaken with every wash, unlike a surface finish.

A barrier to infectious agents

Water-repellent Arox WR WP fabrics (75% PES / 25% PU) form a barrier against microbes penetrating with body fluids — for isolation gowns and staff protective clothing, tested to EN 14126.

Stretch for orthoses and masks

ArPower Knit: interlock knits of 350–400 g/m² with elastane — an ultra-elastic base for orthoses, corsets and reusable masks that must fit closely without constricting.

Comfort for a twelve-hour shift

Fabrics for scrubs and medical shirts (ArWoWear Soft, 80% cotton) combine the breathability of a natural fibre with resistance to industrial laundering — clothing worn through the whole shift without discomfort.

Reusability quantified in reports

Ariteks has documented comparative analyses of reusable isolation gowns and masks against single-use ones — cost and environmental impact favouring the reusable fabric. A supplier that delivers not only the material, but the argument for it.
